Resolution #1: Russian Federation Entrance into the WTO

Topic: Russian Entrance into the WTO

The Parliament of Great Petronia,

Recognizing the lack of transparency, trust, accountability, personal freedom and stability in the Russian Federation’s economic system,

Declaring the need to reverse and improve many of the negative characteristics of the Russian Federation’s economic system before the nation can gain entrance into the World Trade Organization (WTO),

Finding there to be innumerable benefits to the entrance of the Russian Federation into the WTO, including greater interconnectedness, more efficient trade flow and more stable overall trade relationships,

  1. Supports the entrance of the Russian Federation into the WTO if its economic system can meet, to a significant degree, the requirements of transparency, trust, accountability, personal freedom and stability.
